Hello everyone! Sorry for the very wimpy start on this blog, and for the very long hiatus. The excuses are many and varied, but the important thing is that I am now back and looking forward to reinvigorating this blog.
Fun news this week is that I had my very first article published in the Morning Sentinel in honor of St. Patrick's Day. You can check out the article here.
It has been so great to hear from those loyal Morning Sentinel/Kennebec Journal readers who remember me from growing up in China and Waterville. I've heard from old friends, teachers, professors and my lovely extended family. I really enjoyed writing about my two homes!
Stay tuned for more travel writing in the Central Maine papers over the spring and summer. Michael and I are planning a few trips (Amsterdam, Galway and Leicester, England) and I'm hoping to convince the editor at the Sentinel and KJ to let me be their European correspondent. Fingers crossed!
